Canadian snowboarder Laurie Blouin was placed on a stretcher after crashing on her final jump during slopestyle training.

Prior to PyeongChang 2018, the 21-year-old Quebec native - a favorite in both slopestyle and big air - stunned her competitors by capturing gold at the 2017 FIS World Championships.

This was her first time representing Canada at the Olympics.
