The Canadian duo of Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris recorded a convincing 8-2 victory over the Olympic Athletes of Russia on Saturday to clinch a berth in the mixed doubles curling semifinal at PyeongChang 2018.
Canada, which who moves into first place in the round-robin table, became the first team to book a spot in the penultimate round after Lawes and Morris secured their fifth straight victory in convincing fashion.

Canada will play South Korea in its final round-robin contest before Monday's semifinal against an undetermined opponent.
