The Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) has been among the best Olympic broadcasters in the world for several games, offering a record amount of live coverage.

CBC worked in collaboration with Rogers' Sportsnet and Bell Media's TSN to give Canadians plenty of options for live television as well as online streaming of every live event.

Former athletes, coaches, and even relatives of current athletes were used as commentators to give fans insight into many sports they may not have been familiar with.

Canadian athletes were, of course, featured as the main attractions for the bulk of the games, but international stories like the improbable skiing win by Czech snowboarder Ester Ledecka, the U.S. domination in the halfpipe, and the battle between young Russian women's figure skaters earned appropriate attention as well.
