Latvian forward Vitalijs Pavlovs fails doping test
According to the Associated Press, Vitalijs Pavlovs - a third-line forward for the Latvian men's ice hockey team that upset Switzerland and took Canada to the brink in Sochi - has failed a doping test.

Pavlovs appeared in all five of Latvia's games at the Olympic tournament, finishing with a +1 on-ice goal differential and recording one assist.
According to the IOC, the 24-year old forward tested positive for methylhexaneamine (dimethylpentylamine). They IOC has confiscated Pavlov's "Athlete's diploma", and Pavlov's positive test will be "mentioned in the record of the sports result".
