Roberto Luongo wouldn't let Jeff Carter give him the game puck after win over Austria
Roberto Luongo and Jeff Carter both achieved significant feats during Friday's 6-0 win over Austria: the goaltender earned an Olympic shutout, while the forward notched a natural-hat trick.
In a rather nice gesture after the game, Luongo displayed a measure of Olympic spirit by declining to keep a game memento for himself.
Carter tried to give game puck to Luongo, who rejected it because Carter had the hat trick. "I got plenty of pucks at home," Luongo said.

"He got the hat trick ... I told him to keep that one" Luongo added, via Greg Wyshynski of Yahoo Sports.
Carter, who saw less than three minutes of ice time in the first period, took advantage of a second period assignment alongside Jonathan Toews and Patrick Marleau to register the three goals.
"It just kinda happened. I was in the right place at the right time for pretty much all of them,” said Carter. “My linemates did a great job getting in and winning pucks and getting pucks to the net."
