Friday's "friendly" between Colombia and South Korea took a nasty turn when a player from the South American side appeared to make a racist gesture toward an opponent during a heated dispute.
South Korea led 2-0 when the incident occurred. After a small skirmish, Edwin Cardona appeared to make a slanted-eye gesture while the match official attempted to separate the two teams.
Even in friendly matches, there’s racism. Not just by fans, but also players. Colombia’s Cardona deserves a ban. pic.twitter.com/hxHd7Gp267
