Here are some of the numbers behind the 33-year-old's latest strike:
2 - Ronaldo is only the second Portuguese player, after Jose Torres in 1966, to score with his left foot, right foot, and head at the same World Cup. He can do it all.
4 - The Madeira-born hitman has his sights set on the Golden Boot award, as he leads the tournament with four goals thus far.
28 - In his last 55 international matches, Ronaldo has scored at least once in 28 of those contests.
33 - At 33 years and 135 days old, Ronaldo follows in the footsteps of Cameroonian icon Roger Milla, becoming only the second player to score at least four goals in a single World Cup after his 33rd birthday.
85 - The big one of the day. With his 85th goal for Portugal, Ronaldo surpassed Hungarian great Ferenc Puskas as international football's top-scoring European of all time.
109 - The next milestone in his sight is Ali Daei's international scoring record; the Iranian striker found the net 109 times in his storied career. Ronaldo is closing in quickly.
