Brazil's alone at the top of the World Cup scoring chart. Something about that just feels right.
By virtue of Neymar's slick second-half goal against Mexico in Monday's last-16 clash, the Selecao became the highest-scoring team in the history of football's marquee tournament, breaking a tie with Germany by moving onto 227 tallies in the competition.
Neymar has now scored 57 goals in 89 caps for Brazil at 26 years of age.

The South American nation is also the gold standard for World Cup titles, of course; a victory for Neymar and Co. in Russia would see Brazil stand atop the football world for the sixth time in the country's illustrious footballing history.
