Ronaldo 'is fit to play', according to Portugal teammate Raul Meireles
It didn't come from the man himself, but Raul Meireles seems confident enough in Cristiano Ronaldo's progress in time for Portugal's critical Sunday match against the United States.

Ronaldo is dealing with knee tendontitis as well as a muscle injury, and he struggled against Germany in Portugal's 4-0 opening loss. He was seen wearing a brace on Friday, and there were rumors this week he was thining about pulling out of the tournament because he wasn't getting better. So it looks like we might have to wait until Sunday to see if he is fully healed.
Did someone say Ronaldo?
Unofficial count from Portugal press conference: Ronaldo said to be world's best player 18 times. Wanted to ask: You sure about that?
