It's a rematch three years in the making.

At WrestleMania 34 on April 8 in New Orleans at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Roman Reigns will challenge "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in one of the night's main events.

Reigns earned his No. 1 contender status Sunday night by defeating Finn Balor, his Shield brother Seth Rollins, Elias, The Miz, John Cena, and Braun Strowman in an Elimination Chamber match.

While Reigns was the superstar getting his hand raised, the real standout of the bout was "The Monster Among Men" Strowman, who eliminated a record five competitors with his patented powerslam finisher before meeting his demise at the hands of Reigns and two vicious spears.

Strowman had the last laugh when it was all said and done, sending Reigns into a nearby pod before heading to the back.

It was at Levi's Stadium at WrestleMania 31 when Reigns squared off with Lesnar for the WWE Championship. Their one-on-one encounter didn't have a decisive winner, as Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during their match, pinning Reigns to capture the title.

Reigns and Lesnar will go face to face on the Feb. 26 edition of "Monday Night Raw."
