Report: John Cena vs. The Undertaker still planned for WrestleMania
Rey Mysterio may not be replacing The Undertaker as John Cena's WrestleMania 34 opponent after all.
In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that the Cena versus Undertaker match was still planned for WrestleMania as of Monday night. He also notes that the only way the match wouldn't go ahead is if Undertaker pulled out of the show due to an unforeseen issue, like getting injured while training.
Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso reported Wednesday that Mysterio is finalizing a deal to return to WWE and is currently scheduled to fight Cena at WrestleMania.
Cena stated that his dream match against Undertaker "is not happening" on Monday's episode of Raw, but according to Meltzer, the promo was done to defer attention away from the match until after the SmackDown Fastlane pay-per-view on March 11.
