Lesnar returning to UFC for title fight with Cormier
The Beast is back.
Brock Lesnar will take on Daniel Cormier for the UFC heavyweight title at UFC 230 on Nov. 3 at Madison Square Garden, sources told Jeremy Botter of Bleacher Report. It was reported prior to the fight between Cormier and Miocic that the current WWE champion would take on the winner of the UFC 226 bout.
Lesnar was cageside at UFC 226, and entered the Octagon after the conclusion of the fight following a challenge from Cormier, who knocked out Miocic in the first round of their bout.

The current WWE champion hasn't fought since UFC 200 in July 2016, where he defeated his opponent Mark Hunt via unanimous decision. However, Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance and was suspended for a year. The win was subsequently overturned to a no-contest.
Lesnar has entered the USADA pool in order to return to the Octagon, though his details have been hidden from public viewing in their database, added Botter.
The 40-year-old remains one of MMA's biggest draws and should give the promotion some much-needed star power.
