After spending the past four years in Brooklyn, SummerSlam is heading north for 2019.
WWE announced Monday through ET Canada that Toronto will play host to next year's SummerSlam. The annual pay-per-view event was last held in Toronto in 2004.
"We are thrilled to bring WWE's biggest event of the summer back to Toronto," John Saboor, WWE's executive vice president of special events, said in a statement.
The event will be held at Scotiabank Arena over four consecutive nights, beginning Aug. 10, 2019, with "NXT TakeOver." The festivities will also include the SummerSlam Axxess fan festival, "Monday Night Raw," and "SmackDown Live."
