Becky Lynch throws shade at WWE over Gronk's WrestleMania appearance
Ahead of her historic triple-threat match at WrestleMania next month, Becky Lynch took a dig at WWE for putting celebrities like Rob Gronkowski on its biggest stage.
"Wouldn't that be nice to never have done anything in wrestling and just go into Wrestlemania? I would love that," Lynch told TMZ Sports when asked about the former New England Patriots tight end possibly joining WWE.
"Some of us almost get fired and have to work our way and scratch and claw, and then we come to the main event. Other people are just, 'Here you go, here's your debut match, WrestleMania. See you at WrestleMania.'"
Gronkowski, who announced his retirement from the NFL on Sunday, made an appearance at WrestleMania 33 in 2017, helping friend Mojo Rawley win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
