Ric Flair's surgery postponed due to 'complications'
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is experiencing "complications" that have delayed a scheduled medical procedure, according to his wife, Wendy Barlow.
"Ric's surgery has been postponed until Monday to address some complications that needed to be taken care of first," Barlow announced Friday on Instagram. "Thanks for all the well wishes."
TMZ Sports reported Thursday that Flair, 70, was rushed to an Atlanta-area hospital after suffering a medical emergency. The website described the situation as "very serious," but Barlow issued a statement later that day saying Flair was expected to make a full recovery.
Flair's son-in-law, Conrad Thompson, told Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com the family knew about the procedure and Flair had planned to have it before his appearance at Starrcast in Las Vegas next weekend.
