WWE, Netflix partner on new live-action film

A WWE movie is coming to Netflix.
WWE Studios announced Wednesday that it's partnering with Netflix on a live-action family movie called "The Main Event" that's slated to premiere in 2020. It follows an 11-year-old aspiring wrestler who finds a magical mask and competes to become the next WWE Superstar.
The film will feature Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Sheamus, and other real-life WWE Superstars alongside Seth Carr, Tichina Arnold, Ken Marino, and Adam Pally.
Production gets underway this week in Vancouver, British Columbia.
