Rinku Singh, the former Pittsburgh Pirates minor-league pitcher who inspired the 2014 Disney movie "Million Dollar Arm," appeared on WWE television for the first time last week.
The 31-year-old Singh and his tag-team partner, Saurav Gurjar, attacked NXT Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle on the March 25 episode of WWE NXT.
Singh was signed by the Pirates after winning the "Million Dollar Arm" reality TV show in his native India in 2008. He left baseball in 2016 due to injuries, inking a deal with WWE two years later.
