Ric Flair says The Rock, WWE making biopic about him
A Ric Flair biopic is in the works, according to "The Nature Boy."
Flair revealed on a recent episode of Sirius XM's "Busted Open" podcast that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions co-founder, Dany Garcia, are collaborating with WWE on a movie about him.
"I talked to Dwayne and Dany Garcia ... and Hiram Garcia and they're gonna collaborate, the last time I heard, for all this stuff and make a movie with the WWE (about) me with Sue Levison, who now is with WWE and is doing a fabulous job. Sue's got a great background," Flair said (segment starts around the 33-minute mark). "As soon as everything gets rolling again after that, they'll make that movie. I am looking forward to that because I'll have a lot of input."
Flair added that a television program about his life in the 1980s is also set to be released and joked, "It'll probably come out at 1 in the morning, rated XXR."
Johnson and Garcia formed Seven Bucks Productions in 2012.
