John Cena helps match $1M BTS donation to Black Lives Matter
John Cena is following the lead of K-pop group BTS by making a donation to Black Lives Matter.
The WWE Superstar announced Monday on Twitter that he will help match BTS' $1-million donation to Black Lives Matter after the group's fans, known as the BTS ARMY, did the same last week.
Very happy to join #BTSARMY in efforts to match @BTS_twt tremendous donation #ARMYMatch1M

"Change is never easy because it takes us admitting that our efforts and methods may be flawed to a point of severe distortion," Cena wrote in another tweet posted Tuesday. "Be brave and open-minded in these moments. Welcome ideas and limit excuses. Change is uncomfortable but can yield much more joy for all in the long run."
Cena is also believed to be behind a $40,000 donation to the family of former WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard, who died in a swimming accident in May.
