Charlize Theron interested in competing in WWE
Academy Award-winning actress Charlize Theron could step into a WWE ring in the future.
Theron expressed interest in a match during a recent chat with WWE's Kofi Kingston, who said he would love to see her go one-on-one with Becky Lynch or another of the company's top women.
"When and where?" Theron responded. "I know we're in a crisis situation right now, so it's not any time soon, but that sounds awesome and I will get my ass kicked. So that would be really entertaining for everybody to watch because I am a mere actor. But that would be so much fun."
Theron doesn't have a wrestling background, but she did go through martial-arts training for her newest role in "The Old Guard," which she discussed toward the end of her chat with Kingston.
"We had three-and-a-half to four months of training before we started shooting this film," she said. "We would spend up to five hours in the gym just really learning choreography, learning skills, learning techniques, strength training. It's a big commitment when you say yes to one of these movies. You have to be willing to put in the hours."
