Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers once had a memorable run-in with WWE legend Ric Flair that left his former backup, Graham Harrell, starstruck.

Rodgers shared the story on a recent episode of "The Pat McAfee Show," recalling how he and Harrell spotted Flair while out for dinner one night in North Carolina.

"So we're in Carolina playing the Panthers and I'm at dinner with a buddy of mine from the Coast Guard who's stationed out there," Rodgers said. "And (Harrell's) at dinner with (former Packers quarterback Matt) Flynn, randomly, we're just all at the same restaurant.

"And our old coach Kevin Greene, who if you know Kevin Greene, wild man, former Pittsburgh Steeler, former Carolina Panther, former WCW wrestler, and just a beauty of a human. He's having dinner at the same time with Ric Flair. So they're at one table, Flynn and Graham are at another table, and I'm at a third table. Just randomly we're all there."

Harrell, who's a big wrestling fan, started blowing up Rodgers' phone and asked the field general to go over to Greene and Flair's table with him. They eventually did, but Harrell was apparently too nervous to say anything to Flair.

"Graham clammed up like I've never seen anybody clam up before," Rodgers recalled. "I'm talking about paralyzed. He couldn't get a word out."

The longtime NFL veteran did all the talking while Harrell stayed silent, though Harrell later told Rodgers meeting Flair was "the greatest thing ever."

Flair joined Rodgers on the show and was asked if he remembered the night in question.

"Of course," Flair said. "I was with Kevin Greene and I asked Kevin, I said, 'I got to meet Aaron Rodgers.'"
