Matthew McConaughey hints at joining WWE
Matthew McConaughey could be entering the world of WWE.
The 51-year-old actor teased the possibility of wrestling during a recent appearance on the "Better Together" podcast with Maria Menounos.
"I'll say not too much 'cause as you know, can't say too much about these things," he said. "But it is something that interests me."
McConaughey also recalled a conversation he had with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson while discussing his love of wrestling.
"The Rock was telling me his story about his storyline from good guy to bad guy, and how he felt it click in one night while he was there live. 'Oh I just hooked 'em,'" McConaughey said. "And I love the suspension and disbelief - 'cause my kids and I watch it and then they're starting to get that when they go, 'Oh this is fake.' I'm going, 'What are you talking about? No way.' 'Cause I won't give them the wink yet. ... Two of them are like, 'This isn't fake, this is real.'"
McConaughey made a brief appearance on WWE television in October, cheering on Drew McIntyre in the virtual crowd alongside his sons.
