Giannis: I'd 'for sure' join WWE or AEW if I got paid like The Rock
Giannis Antetokounmpo won't be stepping into a professional wrestling ring unless there's a big payday involved.
The Milwaukee Bucks star and wrestling fan was asked if he has any interest in joining WWE or AEW one day and joked that he would only consider it if he got paid as much as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
"If I make as much money as The Rock makes, for sure, I'll join," Antetokounmpo said. "No, I don't know. I don't wanna be a wrestler. I don't think that's my thing, man. But you never know. You never know what could happen."
The Rock has become one of the highest-paid entertainers in the world since making the transition from wrestling to acting.
Antetokounmpo isn't doing too bad financially either, as Forbes ranked him as the fourth highest-paid player in the NBA this season with estimated earnings of $86.5 million.
