G Steve Mason

Michal Neuvirth's injury was a blessing for Mason fantasy owners, as he has assumed starting duties for the majority of the season. His win total is better than expected, but his SV% and GAA are worse in comparison to previous seasons. Grade: B

C Claude Giroux

Giroux is producing at a near point-per-game pace. His point totals have been in decline for the past few seasons, but he should finish with around 75 points or so. Fantasy owners would be pleased with that mark. Grade: A-

RW Wayne Simmonds

Simmonds is an absolute beast when it comes to banger leagues. There's only a handful of players that rank among the league leaders in goals, points, shots, PIMs and hits. The latter two categories are especially rare for a goal-scorer. He is on pace to shatter career highs in goals and points. Grade: A+

LW/RW Jakub Voracek

Voracek is proving that 2015-16 was just a blip on the radar. He has returned to his 2014-15 form - a season in which he amassed 81 points and was named a first-team All-Star. Those who drafted him in hopes of a bounce-back season have benefited greatly. Grade: A

C/LW Brayden Schenn

Schenn is looking to repeat his breakout season of a year ago, when he scored 26 goals and added 33 assists. He provides both positional and statistical versatility. Grade: B

C/LW Travis Konecny

Those who scooped up Konecny in auction or draft-position-based keeper formats with banger-league scoring ought to be pleased with his season so far. His PIMs and hits totals make up for his lack of offense, but an extremely low shooting percentage would suggest he is bound to start getting some puck luck sooner or later. Grade: B-

D Shayne Gostisbehere

Gostisbehere scored 17 goals while totaling 46 points in just 64 games last season. It was hard to expect that type of production again, but he is enduring a true sophomore slump. Grade: D+

D Ivan Provorov

Defensemen usually take longer to develop than forwards, but don't tell Provorov. The 20-year-old is enjoying a superb rookie season, leading the team in minutes played. In addition to his offensive contributions, he isn't afraid to block shots or throw his weight around. He's a gem in keeper leagues. Grade: A-

D Mark Streit

It's hard to be angry with Streit's modest production as a 39-year-old. The Swiss native blocks enough shots that he isn't totally reliant on his offense. Grade: B-

Player to watch - LW Michael Raffl

Raffl was a legitimate Cy Young candidate back in 2014-15, scoring 21 goals with only seven assists. Last season he had just 13 goals, but it wouldn't be surprising if he finished with 25-plus this season. His shooting percentage is high, but he plays on a line with two excellent playmakers in Giroux and Voracek. He leads the Flyers in iSCF60 (individual scoring chances for per 60 minutes) at 5v5 by a wide margin, per Corsica.Hockey.
