ANA | ARI | BOS | BUF | CGY | CAR | CHI | COL | CLB | DAL | DET | EDM | FLA| LA | MIN | MTL | NAS | NJ | NYI | NYR | OTT | PHI | PIT | SJ | STL | TB | TOR | VAN | WAS | WPG

G Martin Jones

Jones has been sensational this season. Were it not for numerous goalies around the league playing out of this world, he would be in the Vezina Trophy conversation. Grade: A

C/RW Joe Pavelski

Pavelski has been the definition of consistency over the past three seasons. Expect him to once again finish with 70-80 points while mixing in a flurry of shots and hits. He does it all. Grade: A

C Logan Couture

Couture was magnificent during San Jose's run to the Stanley Cup Finals, picking up 30 points in 24 games. He has carried that forward into a successful 2016-17 campaign, though he's still capable of more. Grade: B

C Joe Thornton

Nobody expects Thornton to fill the net with goals, but the fact that he only has two tallies on the season is disappointing. He is still getting a healthy amount of assists, but that's about it. Grade: D+

C/LW Patrick Marleau

Marleau's days of being fantasy relevant are long gone. He has somehow managed nine goals, but only four assists. Grade: D-

C/LW Tomas Hertl

Hertl was showing some promise this season before going down with an injury. He is worth adding upon his return to the lineup, as there's a good chance he will play LW alongside Thornton and Pavelski. Grade: C

LW Mikkel Boedker

Boedker has been a disaster this season. After tying a career high with 51 points a season ago, the Dane has been a total bust for the Sharks with just two goals and five assists in 35 games. Grade: F

D Brent Burns

The only thing greater than Burns' beard is having him on your fantasy team. He has 14 goals and 20 assists in just 35 games, but he also leads the league in shots and registers plenty of hits and blocks. He is a top-5 fantasy player, regardless of position. Grade: A+

D Marc-Edouard Vlasic

As a stable, positionally sound defenseman, Vlasic is much more valuable in real life than fantasy. He managed to put up a career high 39 points last year, but it doesn't appear he will reach that this season. Grade: D

Player to watch - RW Timo Meier

Meier is San Jose's top prospect. He has one goal in five games this season and has taken at least four shots in every game but one. He has received four individual scoring chances in less than 60 minutes at 5v5. He is worthy of a speculative add in keeper leagues for now. In standard leagues, wait until the Swiss native starts showing more finish.
