The Toronto Blue Jays aren't expecting to have either Edwin Encarnacion or Adam Lind return to the lineup this week.

Optimism surrounded a return from the pair last week when manager John Gibbons revealed both sluggers were close to a return, however Encarnacion had his rehab interrupted due to a "minor setback" while Lind's foot has apparently not healed as quickly as initially thought.

Toronto opens a three-game series in Boston on Monday before travelling to Houston for a four-game series and then return home to open a three-game set with the Baltimore Orioles next Tuesday.

Lind, who was placed on the disabled list July 11 with a fractured foot, is hitting .320/.389/.489 with 16 doubles and 27 RBI in 61 games, while Encarnacion is hitting .277/.368/.591 and still leads the team with 26 home runs and 70 RBI despite landing on the DL July 7 with a quad strain.
