Emre Can could miss up to 6 weeks after suffering ankle injury with U-21 German squad
Following the news that striker Daniel Sturridge could miss 2-3 weeks with a thigh problem, Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers received more bad news on the injury front.

Can, 20, joined the Reds this summer from Bayer Leverkusen, and while he wasn't expected to be a mainstay in the starting lineup, the hope was he would provide some good midfield depth off the bench, and gain some valuable experience along the way in his first Premier League season.
His two appearances in the league this season have been as a substitute.
The injury comes at an inopportune time for the club, who are preparing for a congested fixture over the next month thanks to their involvement in the Champions League.
