Bell leads Steelers past Bengals for key division win

While the Pittsburgh Steelers have turned in some disappointing efforts this year, Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals was yet another example of the team rising to the occasion when necessary. A dominant second half saw the Steelers come away with a convincing 42-21 win, inching closer to the Bengals' top spot in the AFC North.

Here's what you need to know:

  • The Bengals finished the third quarter with a 21-17 lead, but 25 unanswered points in the fourth allowed the Steelers to come away with the blowout win.
  • The Steelers' offense was once again led by an incredible performance from running back Le'Veon Bell, as the 22-year-old finished the day with 26 carries for 185 yards and two touchdowns and added six receptions for 50 yards and another score through the air.
  • Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger showed no effects of the hand issue he was dealing with in last week's loss, throwing for 350 yards and three touchdowns.
  • Wide receivers Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant each tallied over 100 yards on the day, with Bryant's 94-yard touchdown reception putting the game out of reach in the fourth quarter.
  • Andy Dalton bounced back from his struggles in last week's narrow win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but his 302 yards and 2 TDs, with another on the ground, weren't enough to lead the Bengals to the win.
  • A.J. Green turned in a dominant performance as Dalton's top target, hauling in 11 passes for 224 yards and one touchdown.
  • Steelers veteran cornerback Ike Taylor left the game with knee and shoulder injuries.
