Friedman: 'Sprained MCL is a possibility' for Ducks' Perry

The Anaheim Ducks will find out the extent of Corey Perry's knee injury on Tuesday, and until then, speculation reigns.

A "sprained MCL is a possibility" for the 2010-11 Hart Trophy winner, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman

Perry was hurt Friday in Minnesota against the Wild, and traveled with the Ducks to Winnipeg, where he sat out Sunday's game against the Jets.

Perry has 22 points and 14 goals in 23 games this season, and with the Ducks facing the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday and Friday, Anaheim will undoubtedly be cautious with one of its best players in the short term.
