The Tigers are shaping up to be a family affair.

Robert Muschamp, nephew of newly-named defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, accepted a walk-on spot as H-back at Auburn, according to Brandon Marcello of AL.com.

"It's a dream for me to play there," said Robert. "My whole life I've wanted to play there."

The Georgia native garnered scholarship offers from Air Force, Army, Central Arkansas and Wofford. Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn offered a spot as a walk-on on Thursday night, Robert said.

Muschamp made sure his nephew knew he'd receive no special favors.

"The first thing he told me when he offered me as a preferred walk-on is that you're going to earn everything you get," said Robert.

"Nothing is going to be handed to you just because I'm here. You're going to earn every bit of playing time. Anything you get you're going to have to earn it. I wouldn't want it any other way."
