NFL Week 2 Line Report: Trying not to read too much into the Vikings' opening rout
The first week of the NFL season is barely on the books, but oddsmakers have already offered up a look at what will be available to bettors next week.
At first glance, it looks like a drastic overreaction to the line in Minnesota, where the Vikings are getting only three points against a New England Patriots team that will be out for blood after dropping their opener in Miami.
The Vikings may have routed the St. Louis Rams, but that had more to do with the Rams than it did with the current state of the Vikings.
The Cleveland Browns looked good after a rough start in their opener, and get a New Orleans Saints team that hasn't fared well on the road, but the Browns are getting six points in that one, while the Saints are playing their second consecutive road game, which is never an easy feat.
The Denver Broncos' issues with letting teams back into games was on full display again on Sunday night, but they'll still be giving 12 points away to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Here's a peak at all of the opening lines for Week 2 of the NFL season.
