Eagles' Chip Kelly: 'I got no issues with Cary (Williams)'

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cary Williams raised some eyebrows Sunday when he ripped head coach Chip Kelly's practice methods, but it sounds as if there are no hard feelings.

"Cary's just a competitor. He always wants to play a perfect game, always wants to make a perfect play ... he'll tell you, he just got frustrated," Kelly said, via Philly.com.

Asked if he thinks other players agree with Williams that his practices are too fast-paced, Kelly replied: "No. I know we ask our guys to run a lot during practice. I met with Cary just a little while ago, he came in on his own today ... I think he was frustrated (when Williams spoke after the game). I understand that. Cary's a competitor. I got no issues with Cary."

Kelly wasn't bothered that Williams voiced his frustrations with reporters, either.

"No, not at all. You guys are everywhere," Kelly joked.
