Kyrgios offers to deliver food to those in need

Tennis star Nick Kyrgios has pledged to assist those in need in his native Australia by dropping off food at their doorstop amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"If ANYONE is not working/not getting an income and runs out of food, or times are just tough ... please don't go to sleep with an empty stomach," Krygios wrote on his Instagram.

"Don't be afraid or embarrassed to send me a private message. I will be more than happy to share whatever I have," he added. "Even just for a box of noodles, a loaf of bread, or milk. I will drop it off at your doorstep, no questions asked!"

Kyrgios, who's currently in his hometown of Canberra, is on probation by the governing body of men's tennis for his on-court behavior.

The 24-year-old recently transformed his image by spearheading a charitable campaign before and during the 2020 Australian Open that raised millions of dollars for victims of the Australian bushfires.
