Nate Diaz fought at 155 and 170 pounds throughout his lengthy MMA career. But, on Friday, the former UFC star weighed in significantly heavier for his boxing match against Jake Paul.

Paul and Diaz both made weight - coming in at 185 and 184.9, respectively - ahead of their 10-round pro bout Saturday night in Dallas. Their fight was contracted for 185 pounds and will headline a pay-per-view event available on ESPN+ and DAZN.

Paul and Diaz both used the curtain to make weight.

Paul is looking to bounce back from his first career loss after dropping a split decision to Tommy Fury in February. Paul, 26, is a popular social media influencer who's shaken up the boxing world in the last three years. He's 6-1 as a pro and beat former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley.

Diaz, one of the most popular fighters in MMA history, is making his boxing debut. He left the UFC as a free agent in 2020 following a win over Tony Ferguson. The 38-year-old said he may return to the UFC - potentially for a trilogy bout with Conor McGregor - after the Paul fight.

Amanda Serrano and Heather Hardy were on-weight for the co-main event, tipping the scale at 124.6 and 125.8 pounds, respectively. Serrano is defending the undisputed featherweight title.
