Germany's Hummels warned by team manager after balcony stunt

Bayern Munich's Mats Hummels has caught the attention of Germany brass after video surfaced Tuesday featuring the centre-half leaping from a balcony into a pool whilst on a Croatian sojourn.
"It would have been worse if he'd jumped in head first," Germany's team manager Oliver Bierhoff said Wednesday.
"We're not the social media police, yet we will point out that he is a role model," Bierhoff added. "Mats is actually very reflective and I wouldn't put too much on this."
Hummels has since joined his German mates for a pair of World Cup qualifiers against the Czech Republic on Sept. 1 and a visit from Norway three days later.
