Report: Kane won't sign new Tottenham deal

Harry Kane has no intention of staying at Tottenham Hotspur beyond next season, according to Gary Jacobs of The Times.

If Tottenham decide against selling him this summer, they'll run the risk of losing him for nothing when his contract expires in June 2024.

Spurs reportedly rejected Bayern Munich's first two bids in the hopes of receiving closer to £100 million in one lump-sum payment.

Kane doesn't appear to be tempted by Tottenham's offer to significantly increase his wages. The 29-year-old currently earns around £200,000 weekly in base salary.

While Kane remains enthusiastic about joining Bayern - who could submit a third bid worth more than the £68.5 million previously tabled - sources told Jacobs the player won't push for a move this summer.

Thursday's report conflicts with Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou's admission Monday that Kane was "totally committed to" and "perfectly aligned" with him and the club. Postecoglou said he had a "good chat" with Kane before leaving for preseason matches in Perth, Bangkok, and Singapore. Kane played in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to West Ham United in the first game of Tottenham's tour.

Spurs are in a similar dilemma to Paris Saint-Germain, who could lose Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer after being told he won't renew his contract past the upcoming season. Lionel Messi also left PSG when his deal expired in June.
