Stuttgart signs winger Kevin Grosskreutz from Galatasaray
One of the January transfer window's worst-kept secrets was officially revealed Wednesday, as Stuttgart announced the €2 million signing of former Borussia Dortmund winger Kevin Grosskreutz from Galatasaray.
The 27-year-old winger will be chomping at the bit in anticipation of his return to Bundesliga football since a disastrous summer transfer deadline deal to the Istanbul giants dissolved in the final minutes, relegating the five-time capped German international to a spell of inactivity.
