Bayern's Muller, Guardiola wary of Atletico's 'antics'
Ahead of Wednesday's Champions League semi-final first leg between Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, Thomas Muller is already anticipating physical play from his opponents.
"We have our eyes wide open," Muller told reporters ahead of the trip to the Spanish capital. "There will be antics and many one-on-ones in the grey area. It's something we'll have to adjust to."
Having been booted from the continent's top-tier tourney in the semi-finals by Spanish sides two years on the trot, Muller and his mates are watchful of Diego Simeone's team's robust play.
Echoing the statements of Bayern's star forward, manager Pep Guardiola expressed his respect for the 2013-14 finalists.
"They have a big heart and a very good mentality. This is a top, top team. They are very, very dangerous," said Guardiola.
"I know exactly how special Atletico's team is and how much determination they play with."
