Journeyman goal-machine Dimitar Berbatov joins Greek side PAOK
Well-traveled Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov can add a new country to the lengthy list of places he's called home, as the 34-year-old signed a one-year deal with PAOK on Tuesday.
The CSKA Sofia youth product started his career in Bulgaria before stints in Germany, England, France, and, now, Greece. The 78-time international chose PAOK despite receiving interest from higher-profile clubs like Aston Villa, according to BBC Sport.

Following spells at pedigreed clubs Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Monaco, the man with 274 goals in 635 top-flight matches will look to bring both a deft scoring touch and experience to the Greek outfit.
Berbatov is one of a handful of players to ever stand up to imposing legendary gaffer Sir Alex Ferguson, saying in 2012: "I know he's the boss but he has lost, to some extent, my respect because of the way he treated me." PAOK will be hoping the lanky striker can bring some of that edge to the Greek Superleague.
The Bulgarian, out of contract following two seasons with Monaco, joins PAOK on a free transfer. The Thessaloniki side will be looking to improve on last season's third-place finish behind Greece's two other marquee clubs, Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.
