Unable to break into the first team at the Manchester City, young winger Patrick Roberts is moving to Scottish giants Celtic on an 18-month loan.
"The 18-year-old winger has now joined the Scottish champions, aiming to play his part for the club over the next 18 months, and everyone at the club welcomes Patrick to Celtic," a statement on Celtic's website stated Monday.
Roberts, who joined City in the summer on a long-term deal for a reported fee of £12 million following five years with Fulham, has represented England at several levels, gaining notoriety when England won the 2014 European Under-17 Championships in Malta.
