Paris Saint-Germain is one step closer to naming Unai Emery's successor after reportedly holding positive talks with representatives for Thomas Tuchel and current Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
The two tacticians are understood to be front-runners for the position at the Parc des Princes, with The Guardian's Fabrizio Romano reporting that club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi also considered Juventus' Massimiliano Allegri, Manchester United's Jose Mourinho, and Tottenham gaffer Mauricio Pochettino.
Talks with Conte's representatives preceded those with former Borussia Dortmund boss Tuchel, though there has yet to be a formal approach for either candidate.

Tuchel has been without a club since leaving Dortmund in May 2017 following two years in charge of the Bundesliga outfit. The German manager was praised for an attacking brand of football that saw BVB reach a pair of cup finals. Conte's name is also frequently mentioned among Europe's most coveted appointments, and after reports surfaced that the Italian was discontent with the lack of input on transfers at Chelsea, the former Azzurri manager is linked with a summer exit.
Emery's contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and it appears PSG won't renew terms. His two-year tenure soured after the capital club was bounced from the Champions League by Real Madrid. After winning three Europa Leagues on the bounce at Sevilla, the Spaniard has failed to guide the Ligue 1 leader beyond the continental last-eight in two successive campaigns.
