Report: Dembele spurns Spurs for China switch
Mousa Dembele has likely played his final match in a Spurs uniform.
Set to miss Tuesday's League Cup semifinal clash with Chelsea, Dembele appears set to forego the final six months of his current deal to join Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan.
According to The Telegraph's Matt Law, Tottenham have accepted an £11-million bid for the 31-year-old Belgian international, with Dembele scheduled to leave the north London lot after six-and-a-half years and 242 appearances in all competitions.
Injuries and the emergence of Harry Winks at the base of Mauricio Pochettino's midfield diamond have relegated Dembele to just seven starts in the Premier League and a pair of appearances in Europe against Inter and PSV.
Dembele could be part of a group of Tottenham players to make a January exit, with Law reporting the Spurs are willing to listen to offers for forwards Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen, and fringe winger Georges-Kevin N'Koudou.
