Mason Greenwood scored another decisive Premier League goal for Manchester United on Sunday as his side set a record for consecutive unbeaten away games in English football.

The 19-year-old - who notched a goal in the Red Devils' season-opening win over Leeds United and pocketed the equalizer in a 1-1 draw at Southampton - netted with 10 minutes of normal time remaining to take a 1-0 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

United have now gone 28 matches without defeat on the road, which is the longest run in English league history. Arsenal's previous record of 27 ran from 2003 to 2004.

Wolves left the match frustrated after falling to a third straight 1-0 Premier League defeat despite attempting a total of 57 shots over those games. They out-shot their opponents in each of those outings.

Midfielder Ruben Neves also claimed Paul Pogba fouled him in the buildup to Greenwood's strike. The ball broke to Raphael Varane after Pogba's tackle, and the debutant subsequently picked out Greenwood down the right flank. The teenage striker moved inside, made himself space with some trickery, and smashed the ball home via goalkeeper Jose Sa's palm.

"I didn't touch him. This is the Premier League, it was a 50-50, every weekend that is happening," Pogba told Sky Sports post-match, according to BBC Sport. "We win the ball, and we scored."

United are third in the Premier League table with seven points through three matches and face Newcastle United at Old Trafford after the international break. Wolves' next match is at Watford.
