Francesco Molinari got inside the projected cutline late Friday at the U.S. Open in the most dramatic way possible.
The Italian came to the 194-yard ninth - his 18th hole of the day - at 7-over par needing a miracle ace to get inside the projected cut of 5-over.
That's exactly what happened, as he landed his tee shot in the perfect place for it to release and roll into the hole.
It's Molinari's third career hole-in-one on the PGA TOUR and second of the day on the ninth after Sepp Straka accomplished the feat in the morning wave.
