Lukaku wants to put himself in shop window at Euro 2016
Romelu Lukaku is keen to show prospective employers what he's capable of during Belgium's Euro 2016 campaign as he tries to engineer an exit from Everton.
The Toffees are reportedly set to offer Lukaku fresh terms in a bid to keep him on Merseyside, but the striker has clearly had his head turned by interested parties such as Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester United.
"PSG are a great club, with a magnificent project, a world-class squad. But everything is in the hands of my agent," Lukaku told GQ via ESPN FC.
"A lot of clubs are obviously interested in having me in their squad."
Lukaku started his Euro campaign badly, looking off the pace before his 73rd-minute substitution for Divock Origi in a 2-0 loss to Italy. Further turgid outings could be detrimental to the former Chelsea man's chances of earning a big-money transfer from Everton.
Other potential buyers of Lukaku include Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Real Madrid.
"I have to continue to play well and have a good European Championship so that more clubs are interested in me," the 23-year-old continued.
"But I'm still under contract with Everton. We'll see what happens."
Everton will hope that its revised ambitions will help encourage Lukaku to put pen to paper. New majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri has promised significant investment in the playing staff, and new manager Ronald Koeman has already apparently sighted Newcastle United's Tim Krul and Zenit St. Petersburg's Axel Witsel.
Koeman will oversee his first competitive Everton match on the weekend of August 13 against Tottenham Hotspur.
