Wilshere set to make Bournemouth debut against AC Milan
In a coincidental twist, Jack Wilshere is slated to make his Bournemouth debut against a club that he's rejected, AC Milan.
Wilshere, 24, joined the Cherries Wednesday in one of the transfer window's most unexpected moves amid reported interest from Crystal Palace, Roma and AC Milan.
The on-loan Arsenal midfielder will now make his first appearance in Bournemouth's red and black strip against the club that popularised the Rossoneri colourway during Saturday's testimonial for former defender Warren Cummings.

Despite interest from two of Italy's biggest club and Croydon's Palace, Wilshere opted to join Eddie Howe's lot, and the England international is pleased to play Premier League football with a side whose tactics resemble those of his parent club.
"I'm delighted to have joined Bournemouth on a season long loan and would like to thank everyone at the club for making me feel so welcome," Wilshere said on Twitter.
"I had a good chat with the manager and feel sure that this is the best place for me to play and develop this season."
Bournemouth welcomes the 18-time Italian champ to Dean Court Saturday ahead of the Cherries' return to Premier League football on Sept. 10 against West Brom.
