Agent: Ibrahimovic staying in Europe
With Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Manchester United contract set to expire, the Swedish striker's super-agent Mino Raiola has contended that his client will play in Europe next season.
"I do not know if he will stay at Manchester United, many clubs want him," Raiola told Sky Sports.
Raiola's remarks will cool talk of a potential move to the MLS, saying that Ibrahimovic has received several offers from marquee European sides ahead of talks between the 35-year-old and United.
"Ibrahimovic will certainly play for another season or probably two. We will talk about his future with United.
"He has many offers, certainly he will stay in Europe."
One of football's most recognised - albeit controversial - agents alongside Jorge Mendes, Raiola is no stranger to posturing for the benefit of his client.
Recovering from a cruciate ligament injury picked up in a Europa League quarter-final victory over Anderlecht and a subsequent operation, it's uncertain when Ibrahimovic will begin training again, though both Raoila and the striker's surgeon agree that he has many years left in the tank.
