Swansea scores Sam Clucas from Hull City
Welcome back to the Premier League, Sam Clucas.
After participating in three Hull City matches on the heels of last season's relegation, Clucas returns to the top flight with Swansea City.
The Swans announced Clucas' signing Wednesday, adding that the 26-year-old midfielder joins the south Wales side on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Clucas impressed last season at the KCOM under Mike Phelan and Marco Silva - especially during the first half of the season - pairing skill on the ball with an eye for an incisive cross as the East Midlands local scored three times while appearing in all but one of Hull's 38 Premier League outings.
The rangy midfielder becomes Swansea's fourth significant summer signing, joining Roque Mesa, Erwin Mulder and loanee Tammy Abraham at the Liberty Stadium, with Clucas and Mesa likely to form a midfield pairing after Gylfi Sigurdsson's blockbuster move to Everton.
