Wilshere 'willing to go abroad if the right opportunity comes up'
A week and change after confirming his Arsenal exit, Jack Wilshere says he's willing to play outside of England's top flight should the right opportunity present itself.
"I am willing to go abroad if the right opportunity comes up. Also, everyone knows I like the Premier League and the battle of it," Wilshere told Sky Sports News.
"It is literally the best thing that comes up and the best opportunity that we will take. I am not really in any rush, today (Saturday) is actually my last day with my contract at Arsenal, so it's been a bit of a strange day."

Following 17 years with the north London lot, Wilshere spoke with incoming manager Unai Emery, and after it was confirmed that his role would diminish upon agreeing to a new deal, the midfielder started looking for greener pastures.
The 26-year-old has been linked with numerous clubs outside England, including Turkish giant Fenerbahce and a handful of Italian clubs. The Stevenage-born left-footer has also reportedly drawn interest from Fulham, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Wolves, and Everton.
Still, Wilshere says there's no urgency in his decision, adding: "This has been a good opportunity for me to rest and reflect on my life and what I want - I am not going to rush that decision. ...
"Everyone knows what deadline day is like - it's manic and teams start to panic so we will see. I am not putting a deadline on anything."
