Maddison pens new Leicester City deal
Leicester City midfielder James Maddison agreed to a new four-year deal that will keep him at the King Power Stadium through 2024, the club announced Monday.
Maddison, 23, joined Leicester from Norwich City in 2018 for a reported £20-million fee and immediately became a vital cog in Brendan Rodgers' side, earning a maiden England call-up during that spell.
"It's an incredibly exciting time to be a Leicester City player with so many positive things happening on and off the pitch and I'm delighted to be part of that," Maddison said.

Maddison made 31 appearances in the league this season, but his term was cut short by a hip injury that ruled him out for Leicester's final six matches. The Foxes lost three of those fixtures and relinquished a top-four spot and Champions League position that they'd held for much of the season.
"What we've achieved as a club this season is a huge step forward for us and I know there's so much more to come from this team," Maddison added.
The England international has featured 76 times for Leicester in all competitions and was honored as the club's Young Player of the Season following a breakthrough 2018-19 campaign.
